Lloyd Buxton Millers Dale Collection Debuts at the April 2004 International Home Furnishings Market

REIDSVILLE, NC – Influenced by the simple, classic countryside furnishings of 17th century England, Lloyd Buxton introduced Millers Dale in April at High Point. A collection of original benchmade dining, living and occasional pieces Millers Dale is constructed of alder and other hardwoods. Every piece is hand pegged and hand polished for a natural, antiqued look.

The simplicity and warm rich tones were well-received at market. Some essential designs included:

1. The Burl Elm Desk has barley twist legs and a burl elm veneer. Leather inlays accent the top of the desk. Five drawers make it fully functional and provide extra storage space.

2. The Glass-Front Bookcase is accented with individual hand-cut, hand-glazed glass panes and includes plenty of shelving space for displaying books or treasured collectibles. Additional product details include solid brass hinges and door handles, and a raised wood base.

3. The Folding Game Table is perfect for dining or entertaining. When closed, the piece functions as a small breakfast table. The solid wood leaves open to reveal a chess or a backgammon board. Hand-carved legs support the piece, while solid brass hinges and accents provide additional styling
